Spring has arrived...

Well we are finally starting to feel settled in our new Austin lifestyle. The apartment is gradually coming along and we have actually already entertained a couple of visitors. As for Austin, WE LOVE IT! Laura is convinced she is never moving to another city ever again. We have also caught the 'health' bug from all of the fitness fanatics we see everyday. We use the accessibility to the townlake trail almost every day for walking, running, or playing with the other dogs. We even find ourselves doing yoga in our spare time just because we can...it's crazy! Laura has rekindled her love for smoothies and eventhough Kevin will never admit to it, he has become quite the Jamba Juice fanatic as well.
How is our social life you ask? Well fairly nonexistant for now. A few of Laura's A&M friends live here and we have enjoyed the rare evening out with friends, but are hoping to change that soon by finding a good church and some other interest groups that might grab our attention. We have however become regulars at one particular Starbucks...so that makes us feel somewhat 'liked' by the locals.
All in all it has been a great transition from San Antonio and the whole wedding fiasco. We are so happy to be able to just relax and enjoy eachothers company and all of the attributes of this new city that we call home. Although there is one fun update to report, we are headed up to Dallas this weekend to greet the arrival of our new niece, Emeri...stay tuned for a truckload of photos!
